BUILDING MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM
|
|
In
all modern big buildings, the automated central control
system is very important and necessary for the qualitative
improvement of the working conditions as well as for the
rational energy distribution. For this reason there are some
specialized electronic automation systems that undertake the
administration of the buildings electromechanical
installations. These electronic systems can also control the
air-conditioning system (cooling, heating, ventilation), the
lighting system, the water supply system, the fire alarm and
fire protection system, the building security system, the
drainage system and generally all the important operations
of the building. (CCTV)- Fault monitoring, management and
reporting.
The building is
divided in various lighting zones that are being monitored
and controlled by the BMS system, which can react
appropriately, by either opening or closing the zone lights,
upon receiving an external triggering signal such as human
presence. The BMS system can also control the lighting
intensity in multiple levels. |
